How is Haylen installed? Does it come with cover plates?

Haylen wall lights are wall-mounted with hard wire. Each unit includes a complimentary 4'' x 4'' cover plate, which may be optionally utilized during installation. You can view our installation guide here, along with the installation video here. These wall lights are versatile and can be installed on various wall or panel types.

Please be aware that the electrical mounting and wiring can be adjusted to either the center or ends of the fixture, with enough length to reach either side from the center for easy installation. If you need the wires to extend beyond half the length of the fixture, please fill in the contact form for customization options for your Haylen.

Are Haylen lights for outdoors or indoors? Can I install them horizontally?

The Haylen wall lights are primarily designed for outdoor applications, yet they are also installed indoors by many of our customers. Featuring an IP65 waterproof rating, these lights are protected from showers, rain, or snow, ensuring durability and longevity.

While many customers acquire multiple units of Haylen to vertically adorn their entryways, some opt for horizontal installation. There are no strict guidelines—feel free to unleash your creativity and arrange them however you desire!

Can I use a remote control to simultaneously manage multiple Haylen lights?

Yes, absolutely! You can use one remote to control all of your Haylen lights. To achieve this, simply refer to the remote control instruction manual where you will find detailed information on the pairing process.

Does Haylen have a memory function to recall the preferred setting each time on the wall switch?

Our upgraded Haylen light now includes 3 color temperatures (offering warm white/3000K, neutral white/4500K, and cool white/6000K in one) and a dimming function via remote, allowing you to customize the lighting ambiance to suit any mood or occasion perfectly. With its state-of-the-art memory function, your preferred settings will be effortlessly recalled each time! 

Is Haylen dimmable? Can I replace the LED light if needed?

Absolutely! Our dimmable feature is conveniently managed through the included remote control. Tailor your lighting ambiance to match any mood or occasion by selecting from three color temperatures: warm white (3000K), neutral white (4500K), and cool white (6000K). With our latest Haylen upgrade (as of May 15, 2024), enjoy the added feature of a state-of-the-art memory function ensuring your preferred settings are effortlessly recalled every time you power up.

The LED light band for your Haylen wall light is replaceable. You can purchase replacement LEDs from us, and if you need assistance with the replacement process, feel free to contact us for guidance.

Can I customize Haylen LED wall lights?

Certainly! We are happy to offer customizations on the Haylen wall lights but Open Box items cannot be customized. If you'd like to customize the color, width, or wire length, please fill out the contact form to consult one of our customer care specialists. Note that customized orders are tailor-made and as a result, they are final sales.

Note: Haylen is also available for customization to include solar power, dusk-to-dawn sensors, plug-type, and dimmer switch-compatible options. However, there may be a minimum order quantity requirement or additional costs. Please consult with us before placing your order if you require specific customizations!

Is Haylen waterproof?

Yes, Haylen comes with an IP65 waterproof rating, meaning it's well-protected from showers, rain, and snow. It’s designed for outdoor use in a wide range of climates, whether warm or cold, dry or humid. Haylen operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -45°C/-49°F to 65°C/149°F, so extreme weather conditions won't affect its performance.

You can feel confident knowing that all critical components, including the LED lights, wiring, and power supply, meet and exceed industry standards with the IP65 waterproof rating. Plus, the fixture has two small vent holes at the top and bottom of the mounting casing, allowing water to drain and preventing buildup at the back.

Is the Haylen dimmer switch compatible?

Our Haylen fixture is not compatible with dimmer switches at this time. 

If you would prefer our Hayeln fixture customized to be compatible with dimmer switches, we do offer this option, as long as the fixture has not already been shipped or received.  Please feel free to reach out if this is something you'd like to explore!

What voltage options are available for the Haylen fixture?

All of our Haylen fixtures are equipped with the same driver and power supply, designed to operate within a voltage range of 90V-260V. Since we serve a global market, we ensure compatibility with electrical systems in all the countries we serve.

If you require a low-voltage 12V input for your home electrical setting, we can customize this option for you!

What are the holes on the side of the mounting bracket for? 

Those are ventilation hole that serves two key functions:

1. Ventilation: They help regulate the temperature to ensure the light performs optimally and extends its lifespan.

2. Signal Reception: They enable proper communication between the light controller and the remote control.

Rest assured, all critical components, such as the LED lights, wiring, and power supply, are designed to exceed industry standards, with an IP65 waterproof rating. 

Additionally, there are two small holes at the top and bottom of the mounting casing to allow water to flow through, preventing accumulation at the back.
